Basement floors in the church’s fellowship hall were refinished to enhance both appearance and utility. The concrete slab was restored and cracks were sealed, and the below-grade substrate was addressed with a moisture-vapor barrier before the decorative coating system with specially blended hybrid polymer flakes was applied to harmonize with the décor and boost light reflectivity, brightening the interior spaces. The upgraded flooring will allow easier cleaning and upkeep, resist stains and wear, improve traction, extend service life, and create a more welcoming setting for the multi-use spaces.

A high performance, seamless floor resurfacing system including integral cove base was specified for a new veterinary hospital. The finish required visual appeal while ensuring resistance to the routine exposures and wear often found in a busy animal care setting. Non-slip/non-skid resistance was enhanced in the medical boarding areas for additional exposure to wetness. Ease of cleaning and maintenance were also key considerations for both environmental hygiene and safety.

A utility space in a large chemical manufacturing facility in need of a flooring upgrade. An elevated wood floor with an existing vinyl sheet material in poor condition- delaminating, cracked, and stained. In general, the entire area was ready for some freshening up to transform this particular workspace. Compromised areas of the subfloor were cut out and replaced with cementitious mortar infills. The entire subfloor surface was sealed using a poured seamless flexible membrane to waterproof and accommodate the natural movement of the wood substrate followed by a high-performance, hybrid coating system designed to provide value in utility and professional appearance with enhanced durability, finished floor protection, and easy maintenance. Besides protecting the subfloor from moisture and further damage, the finished system would create a safer, more hygienic, and visually appealing workspace area that is cost-effective compared to a full floor replacement.

A high-build, firehouse floor resurfacing system was specified and installed for its exceptional durability and wear resistance using a self-leveling urethane cement hybrid with a double-broadcast of specially blended ceramic quartz aggregate and two clear seal coats of high performance polyaspartic ester. To improve safety and visibility, six inch reverse traffic stripes were installed using a special blend of safety yellow ceramic quartz aggregate and afterglow aqua sand for luminescent quality. Subsequent to installing the floor resurfacing system, new contraction joints were cut and filled with a colored urethane elastomeric sealant to complement aesthetics and to ensure a seamless finish allowing for natural expansion and contraction of the concrete substrate.

A chemical production area received some long-overdue TLC and was resurfaced to enhance both its functionality and longevity. Some projects are simply ‘down & dirty’—where functionality and protection come first.

This chemical (acid) storage area was in serious need of resurfacing. With constant exposure to corrosives and moisture, both the concrete and surrounding steel required thorough cleaning and profiling before applying new chemical-resistant coatings.

The finished installation not only safeguards the structure but also provides sealed, easy-to-maintain surfaces—extending service life and delivering peace of mind for the facility’s operators.
