A worn bearing journal doesn’t always mean you need a new paper roll.

Bearing diameters and seal fits can be worn down over years of service, or as a result of a bearing failure, seal failure or improper fit.

ATCAM can restore worn journals by:
✔️ Machining away the damaged material
✔️ Masking and grit blasting the repair area
✔️ Applying an arc-spray coating
✔️ Finish machining the repair back to original specifications

The repaired area can be restored for a straight bearing fit, tapered bearing fit or seal fit.

These drip trays catch excess liquid plastic during product changes on food-packaging and gum-wrapper lines.

Our Teflon® release coating helps cooled plastic release easily for recycling or repelletizing. When it’s time to recoat, we bake off buildup, blast away the old coating and residue, and apply fresh coating – no machining needed.

Pro tip: Skip the metal scraper. It can scratch the coating and create spots for plastic to stick.

ATCAM can repair many worn parts for a fraction of the cost of replacement. Repair may also be the better option when equipment is older, replacement parts have been discontinued, or new components come with long lead times.
