Ready to go to work!!💪

With a winter storm on the way, we wanted to share an update on our snow plowing plans.

Public Works crews will be fully staffed and on the roads starting at midnight for the first full plow. This should be completed by early Sunday morning.

A second full plow is planned to begin mid-Sunday morning.

If the forecast timing holds, crews anticipate another full plow early Monday morning.

Ways you can help plows clear the streets:
➡️ Odd/Even Parking
• Saturday (3/14): Park on the side of the street with even-numbered addresses
• Sunday (3/15) at 8 a.m.: Move vehicles to the odd-numbered side
• Monday (3/16) at 8 a.m.: Move vehicles to the even-numbered side
➡️ Give plows room to work
➡️ Avoid unnecessary travel if possible
➡️ Keep trash and recycling bins off the street

County plow crews are monitoring the weather this evening and will respond as needed. They are planning an 11 p.m. start time tomorrow to begin clearing and treating roads. Heavy snow and strong winds may cause blowing snow, impacting travel. Remember to slow down, increase following distance, and give plows room. Our crews are ready and prepared for the upcoming weather!
