It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of Wade Company founder, Hank Wade,Sr. He was the Father of Vernon, Hank Jr., and Wendy, Grandfather of Shelly and Michael, Uncle of Jeff, and cherished friend to many at Wade Company. He built this company and its unique culture, which he entrusted to very capable hands upon his retirement.

Hank Senior was very generous to share his wisdom with others, whether it was training employees, or advising customers. He was a great teacher who took a personal interest in those around him. Those who were fortunate enough to have received a portion of his wisdom, not only carry the professional knowledge, but life lessons with them every day. When faced with a challenging problem or situation, he was someone whom you would ask yourself, “ What would Hank Sr do?”

After his retirement, he volunteered at Arkansas Children’s Hospital to mentor and provide analysis using his extensive expertise in HVAC controls.

His loving family and his company are an impressive legacy and testament to this great man.

Hank Wade Sr. passed away on August 5, 2025.

Visitation will begin 2:00 p.m., Sunday August 10, 2025 followed by memorial services at 3:00 p.m., both in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Healy and Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock (501-661-9111) with Dr. Randy Hyde officiating. Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 11, 2025 at Roselawn Park, 2801 Asher Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pulaski Heights Baptist Church, 2200 Kavanaugh Blvd. Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
