Lead Engineering Designer / Technician
📍 Little Rock, AR | 💼 Full-Time
We’re looking for a Lead Engineering Designer/Technician to oversee the production of high-quality design documents and guide our drafting team. In this role, you’ll set CAD standards, mentor junior staff as needed, and work closely with engineers to deliver accurate, on-time project drawings for structural, mechanical, and environmental projects.
What You’ll Do:
-Lead the preparation of drawings and design documents
-Ensure consistency in CAD standards, templates, and file management
-Mentor and train junior designers/drafters as needed
-Collaborate with engineers and project managers on design solutions
-Support field staff and respond to design-related questions during projects
-Improve workflows and tools for design efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
-Strong CAD skills (Autodesk Civil 3D, Plant 3D, Revit or other discipline-specific tools)
-Solid understanding of engineering principles & construction practices
-Experience interpreting and producing construction documents
-Excellent communication and leadership skills
-Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
