We provide these services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at no extra charge! Our goal is to “WOW!” you and make you comfortable again, warm in the winter and cool in the summer! What sets us apart from other heating and air conditioning companies? When you call us, you can expect our service technicians to ask you a few questions about your equipment. We want you to help us, help you. In some situations we may be able to diagnose the problem before arriving at your house, therefore saving you and us time. In some situations, we may be able to help you fix your problem without a service call. An educated customer is a powerful tool in helping us troubleshoot your HVAC problems. The more you can tell us about the situation, the more likely we are able to be able to help you. Our service techs will always try to repair your equipment first, before recommending a new unit. We believe customers should not be “double-dipped” when, occasionally, a unit fails after a service call. It is our policy to provide a credit for the customer, equal to the cost of the initial repair, towards the purchase and installation of a new furnace or air conditioner by 1st Call Heating and Air. If we need to replace a furnace or air conditioner, we take away your faulty unit and responsibly dispose of it by recycling the parts we can and disposing the rest in an environmentally friendly manner. This includes the refrigerant, which we recycle. We believe in being a responsible and green HVAC company. Bill McGovern: Co-Owner, Service Technician
Bill McGovern has decades of experience in the arena of troubleshooting HVAC issues. He used to work for one of the biggest plumbing and heating companies in the Denver area before deciding that it was more gratifying to own his own company. Bill likes being the end person, responsible for all the work done by his company. He has say in all aspects of the business and wants the customer satisfied. He does the estimates for service and installation, and the part he likes the most is doing the service and repair work for customers. Because Bill has worked for several large Denver HVAC service companies, he knows how a smaller business can be more beneficial to customers. He can take the time to educate the customer about their equipment, show them where the problem is, explain how he will fix it, and show them how to maintain it properly. Rich joined the 1st Call Heating and Air team this year but brings 30 years of HVAC experience. Rich enjoys the “hands-on” type of work that HVAC service technicians do every day and making customers happy when he leaves and their home is warm or cool again. We are a pet-friendly company and the 1st Call team includes three Labradors, Buster, Abigail, and Punky. Having our dogs around reduces stress in hectic times and their presence reminds us daily to be the best we can be, loyal and dependable, and always keep a positive attitude.
