Join us in welcoming Mr. Travis J. Homyak to AEI Corporation.

Mr. Homyak (https://lnkd.in/d7xtemdG) is a seasoned fire service professional and certified fire investigator with extensive experience in fire prevention, code enforcement, fire origin and cause investigations, emergency response, and public safety operations. His expertise includes applying NFPA 921 and NFPA 1033 standards, along with the International Fire Code (IFC) and International Building Code (IBC), to complex fire investigations, life safety inspections, and construction plan reviews.

In addition to his structural fire investigation expertise, Mr. Homyak has significant experience in wildland fire operations and has served on collaborative multi-agency fire teams. He has advanced training in wildland fire investigations, including completion of the S-210 Wildland Fire Origin & Cause and S-310 Advanced Fire Investigation courses, strengthening his ability to investigate fires across diverse environments and jurisdictions.

We are pleased to congratulate Adam Davis on his appointment as a Principal member of the National Fire Protection Association’s (NFPA) Combustible Metals and Metal Dusts Committee (CMD-CMM).

This committee is responsible for developing and maintaining codes and standards that address the unique hazards associated with metals in combustible form, including documents related to hazardous locations and combustible materials.
Composed of a broad range of stakeholders including manufacturers, researchers, technical experts, and regulators, the committee plays a critical role in shaping and influencing safety standards used globally.

Please join us in welcoming Paul Molina to AEI. Paul is AEI’s Technician, providing support for all of AEI’s laboratory facilities and managing the proper collection, tracking, and storage of evidence for AEI’s clients. He also assists with labs being held at the AEI facility and keeps all lab and field equipment properly maintained and calibrated.

Paul earned his B.S. from the University of Houston in Mechanical Engineering. His professional experience includes Halliburton Energy Services as a Research and Development Wireline Engineer, Pico Technologies as a Senior Design Engineer, and Cypress Creek High School and the Energy Institute High School in Texas as an Engineering and Science Teacher.
