The fire is hot, the hot chocolate is flowing, and today ❄️ seems like the perfect day to add SOUP to the menu!

Greg is working on finishing kids’ bedrooms so I’ll share some more baking creations... I promise there will be more metal creations and forge projects soon!

Until then... cheddar stuffed herb braid... served with tomato bisque for dinner. Seriously yum!

Laying aside the hammer and tongs for a moment and putting my carpentry skills to the test! Three dressers for the kids’ Christmas presents... in less than 2 weeks....

I cannot even express how much easier leaf blowing is than raking... why have we never had a leaf blower before?! Beds are all tucked in with fresh layers of mulch. New bird feeders are filled up. Ready for winter!

Rode the Pine Creek Gorge Rail Trail over Halloween weekend. The first day was rainy and snowing- big fun! The second day was sunny but stinking cold! Pretty ride though- next time we’re going to do it earlier in the fall!
