People if your bulkhead contractor shows up with a welder, rebar and all thread please run! Its not a question of if its just a question of when. Rebar and all thread were never design to be welded by non-certified welder, be used in a marine environment, hold weight and what little strength it does have it loses when its heated up to weld. This is almost always the result of using this material in your bulkhead this is your contractor telling you straight up they do not care if you bulkhead makes it for the long term there are eng solutions design to be used in this application please call today !

When the new guys come in after the professionals and install a "cradle" which is actually am I beam setup isn't the same as a full size cradle all though they do offer some benefit over straps they must be installed correctly if they are going to be used. On this one the wrong size boards were used half the bolts were put in they didn't square the cradle or tie them together with angle iron. Additionally while they were they they "serviced" the gear plate pumping it full of the wrong kind of grease causing it to eat itself to pieces took the compounding off the cables when doing so they didn't upgrade the cables to correct size to support the weight of the boat and in addition installed a wireless remote for a PWC lift that won't handle the amps of a boat lift even though it will work temporarily. Please people just because people say they are boat lift builders doesn't mean they actually are we you hire people like this to save a few cents you must always include the repair costs after they leave. Please there are several good professionals boathouse marine contractors on this lake please qualify them before you engage in there services.
