We had a very interesting one today… a bug crossed the C to Herm on the capacitor when it was running. Caused a short, and blew the wire off. The capacitor tested good, the compressor tested good! Fixed the wire and it ran just fine after!

Just like a dirty condenser coil causes your unit to not run right. A dirty evaporator will cause it to freeze over due to lack of airflow. A good maintenance plan could have prevented this emergency call! It’s summer time and it’s definitely time to get your unit checked over to make sure it’s gonna last the rest of summer! Call, text, or email us to schedule an appointment today!

This customer called us for a basic maintenance because their house would not cool past 72°, and the system would just run all day! They wanted to keep their house at 68°. After performing the maintenance we found the metering device had failed! Which is why they could not cool down their house. After replacing the metering device, we got the house from 72° down to 68° in a matter of an hour! The customer is super excited to have a properly function AC again! And said they have to move the set point up because 68° was to cold! Give us a call for all your HVAC needs! We are properly trained to get to the bottom of all your HAVC problems, without trying to sell you a new unit! We take great pride in our ability to find the problem and get a solution fast!!!
