We are honored to witness the commissioning of USCGC VINCENT DANZ (WPC-1162) at the Intrepid Museum in New York City. Named for Coast Guard Reservist and NYPD officer Vincent Danz, who gave his life responding on September 11, 2001, this Sentinel-class Fast Response Cutter will carry forward a legacy of courage, sacrifice, and service.
Built by Bollinger Shipyards in Lockport, Louisiana, the vessel also includes memorial plaques made with steel recovered from Ground Zero, a powerful tribute connecting this cutter directly to the hero it honors.
We are deeply proud to support the U.S. Coast Guard and to help deliver the next generation of mission-ready vessels protecting our nation every day.
