Follow our interns as they tour our Lockport shipyard and get a firsthand look at how vessels are built from the ground up.

From fabrication and assembly to outfitting and final integration, they experienced each stage of the shipbuilding process while seeing the scale, precision, and teamwork required to bring every vessel to life.

It's hands-on learning that connects the classroom to the shipyard and provides a deeper understanding of the work behind every Fast Response Cutter we deliver to the U.S. Coast Guard.

Another key milestone achieved aboard the OSU RCRV Taani at Bollinger Houma.

Last week, the vessel’s main switchboard was successfully energized, marking the first application of electrical power to the ship from shore. This achievement allows teams to begin bringing critical systems online and advancing vessel testing.

With each milestone, Taani moves closer to supporting world-class oceanographic research and exploration for the National Science Foundation (NSF) and Oregon State University .

Congratulations to the Bollinger Houma team and project partners whose expertise and dedication continue to drive progress on this important build.

We are honored to witness the commissioning of USCGC VINCENT DANZ (WPC-1162) at the Intrepid Museum in New York City. Named for Coast Guard Reservist and NYPD officer Vincent Danz, who gave his life responding on September 11, 2001, this Sentinel-class Fast Response Cutter will carry forward a legacy of courage, sacrifice, and service.

Built by Bollinger Shipyards in Lockport, Louisiana, the vessel also includes memorial plaques made with steel recovered from Ground Zero, a powerful tribute connecting this cutter directly to the hero it honors.

We are deeply proud to support the U.S. Coast Guard and to help deliver the next generation of mission-ready vessels protecting our nation every day.

Being part of the team at Bollinger Shipyards is something to be proud of. No matter your role, every member of our workforce contributes to our mission.

This weekend, we were proud to host a Company Family Picnic for our Mississippi team, a day filled with great food, games, and time spent with coworkers and loved ones. Events like these are a reminder that the strength of Bollinger starts with our people and the families who support them every day.

We’re grateful for every member of the Bollinger team and are already looking forward to bringing the next Company Family Picnic to Louisiana to celebrate with even more of our workforce and their families.
