Two weeks ago Bollinger Shipyards was proud to host the team at USNI News and Chris Cavass of the Cavasships Podcast at our Pascagoula, MS and Amelia and Houma, LA, facilities to see firsthand the construction progress on the Polar Security Cutter and Arctic Security Cutter programs.

After 30 years with Bollinger Shipyards, we’re celebrating the retirement of Steve Reeves.

For three decades, Steve was the face of Bollinger to customers across the Gulf Coast and beyond. He knew the boats, he knew the people, and he built the kind of relationships that last beyond the life of a contract. A lot of what Bollinger has delivered over the years started with a conversation Steve had first.

Bollinger Shipyards just opened a new Workforce Training Center in Gulfport, MS, expanding opportunities for the next generation of maritime workers.

Developed in partnership with the Submarine Industrial Base Program Office and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College , the 7,200-square-foot facility will offer hands-on training in marine electrical, electronics and sheet metal mechanics beginning in Fall 2026.
