This past weekend, Bollinger Shipyards proudly celebrated the commissioning of USCGC JEFFREY PALAZZO (WPC-1163), a U.S. Coast Guard Sentinel-class Fast Response Cutter, at the Intrepid Museum in New York City.

The cutter is named in honor of Jeffrey Palazzo, a Coast Guard reservist, New York City Fire Department (FDNY) firefighter, and 9/11 hero who gave his life while saving fellow New Yorkers on September 11, 2001. Bollinger is honored to have built a vessel that will carry Palazzo’s name and legacy forward as it protects lives, secures our homeland, and serves the American people.

Two weeks ago Bollinger Shipyards was proud to host the team at USNI News and Chris Cavass of the Cavasships Podcast at our Pascagoula, MS and Amelia and Houma, LA, facilities to see firsthand the construction progress on the Polar Security Cutter and Arctic Security Cutter programs.
