THE WARLOCKS ARE BRINGING THE ENERGY TO HOMECOMING!

We had an absolute blast bringing a little BioCore to life at the Lockport City School District Homecoming Parade!

From the creativity of our students to the teamwork behind every detail, this float is a reflection of what the Warlocks are all about: building, creating, and making an impact beyond the competition field.

We love showing up for our community, celebrating our schools, and sharing the excitement of FIRST Robotics with the people who support us year after year.

Thank you, Lockport, for letting us be part of the celebration! 💙💛

🦬 BIG NEWS FOR WESTERN NEW YORK! 🤖

FIRST Robotics is coming to Buffalo! The inaugural FIRST Robotics Buffalo Niagara Regional will take place April 15–17, 2027, at Buffalo State University.

High school teams from across New York will bring their custom-built robots to compete in an exciting, varsity-style engineering competition.

This is a HUGE opportunity for students, families, educators, and local businesses—and an exciting chance to grow the STEM and skilled-trades pipeline right here in Western New York!

🦈🌊 WE CAME. WE CLEANED. WE BUILT SOMETHING THAT WAVES. 🤖💙💛

Today, the Warlocks took something that started as an idea and turned it into action.

Our 1st Annual Community Canal Clean-Up brought our students out into the community to roll up their sleeves, give back, and put their engineering skills to work!

Our student-built canal bot, Flooder, hit the water and absolutely delivered! Designed and built by our students, Flooder helped us take our mission one step further by bringing robotics into the real world and showing what happens when you combine creativity, engineering, and a desire to make a difference.

Oh, and because apparently a canal-cleaning robot wasn’t quite enough personality… our students added a HAND that WAVES. 👋😂

Today wasn’t just about picking up trash.

It was about showing our students that they don’t have to wait until they’re adults to make a difference. They can see a problem, dream up a solution, build it, test it, and put it to work right here in their own community.

That’s the kind of impact we want the Warlocks to make.

To everyone who volunteered, supported this project, encouraged our students, shared our posts, brought your families, and believed in what we were trying to do, THANK YOU. 💙💛

And to our students: we couldn’t be more proud of you. You didn’t just build a robot this summer.

You built something that made a difference.

Lockport, this is only the beginning. 🦈🌊

We had a great time bringing our 2nd Annual Read with a Warlock to the Lockport Farmers Market this weekend! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit with our students, check out the robot, and support the Warlocks. We love having opportunities to connect with our community and share our passion for STEM!

And we had a little extra excitement to share this weekend! 🎙️

A few days ago, two of our Warlocks sat down with WLVL-Am-1340 for an interview all about Team 1507, what we do, and our upcoming 1st Annual Community Canal Clean-Up. The interview was released on Saturday! 🦈🌊🤖

Curious what our students had to say? Give it a listen! 👇

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our community and for every opportunity to let our students share what they are learning, building, and doing beyond the competition field.

💙💛 Thank you for helping us inspire the next generation!

From the dance floor to the soapbox derby, the Warlocks had a busy weekend!

We kicked things off with Robo Prom, a night full of fun, laughter, and celebrating another great season!

The next day, we joined the community for the first Lockport Area Soapbox derby in 40 years. Our team kept busy making buttons, handing out coloring pages, and showing off Parmesan to a steady stream of visitors throughout the day.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, make a button, drive a robot, or learn more about what we do. We love being part of such an amazing community.
