We've still got the potential for heavy rains in our area through tomorrow. Continue to exercise caution, especially on the roadways. Remember the following:

Turn around, Don't drown. Looks can be deceiving. Don't drive into flooded roadways. just a few inches of water can cause loss of control.

Never drive around barricades; almost half of flood-related deaths occur in vehicles.

Flash flooding can occur without warning, especially when the ground is saturated from recent rains.

If caught in a storm and it is necessary to drive in rain, beware of hydroplaning, decrease your speed, and brake cautiously. remember to turn on your headlights.
