So my day job is a Director of Photography. Over the years I’ve meet and worked with some pretty high profile celebs and I rarely get a photo. In this case, getting to meet and chat with the RedBull FlyingBulls CEO Eskil Amadal was a real honor. He’s even sporting the F L A R E B O U R B O N cap!! A highlight of Oshkosh 2026.

Flashback to Oshkosh last year. I was in the Flare booth and out of no where there was a gaggle of Aussies standing right in front of us! They had a morning where all of the international visitors marched along with their flags and it just so happened the Aussies ended up in front of us! A weird but fun moment, hope to see them again this year.

I’ve been lucky to have a career where I’ve meet and worked with some very high profile people. Generally I don’t ever get photos with them. This is an exception. This guy who coincidently lives down the road from me might very well be one of the greatest photographers in the world. I don’t say that as an exaggeration. I mean it very seriously! He captures images that are so brilliant, I don’t even technically know how he’s doing it. I told him the other day I think there’s something wrong with him because he’s working on another plain!! If you’re ever lucky enough to meet - know that you meeting an incredibly talented guy!
