San Luis Obispo New Animal Services Facility
F&H Construction and LDA Partners designed and built a 15,243 SF Animal Services Facility for the County of San Luis Obispo. Inspired by the Central Coast aesthetic, the facility features wood-grained phenolic panels, exposed wood beams, natural lighting, and energy-efficient design. The shelter accommodates dogs, cats, rabbits, livestock, and emergency animal housing, while also providing adoption courtyards, treatment rooms, training areas, and public community spaces.
Tuolumne County Mother Lode Regional Juvenile Detention Facility
Construction of a new 26,815 SF, 30-bed juvenile detention facility featuring housing units, classrooms, medical examination rooms, secure outdoor exercise areas, central control, administration offices, kitchen, laundry, maintenance facilities, security electronics, landscaping, utilities, and parking.
San Mateo Animal Shelter
In partnership with LDA Partners, F&H designed and constructed a 31,500 SF animal shelter built to support modern animal care standards. The facility houses large and small animals including horses, dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small mammals, while also providing clinic, community, and administrative services.
Hutchins Street Square
Reconstruction of the Performing Arts and Conference Center featuring a 789-seat theater with an orchestral pit, a striking 65-foot rotunda, multi-purpose meeting rooms, and connected lobby spaces designed to support community events and performances.
