Position Overview:
This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of multiple styles of class A trucks. Including but not limited to dump trucks, side dumps, transfer trucks and or belly dumps with and without pups (trailers).
Drivers will deliver all types of aggregate including asphalt, gravel and other materials to locations both residential and commercial.
Key Responsibilities: (Essential Duties and Functions)
* Thorough operational knowledge and skills of related equipment to be operated.
* We take great pride in what we do and our equipment. We will expect the same out of our drivers.
* Can operate equipment safely and efficiently.
* Must keep time and material records.
* Must follow verbal and written instruction.
* Knowledge of different types and sizes of aggregates.
* Ability for maneuvering and backing with pup trailer.
* Must be able to communicate thoroughly.
Education/Experience:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Certificates, License, Registrations:
* Must possess a valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A.
* Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.
Work Requirements:
* One-two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* At least 23 years of age.
* Incident free driving record preferred
* Will be subject to pre employment and random drug and alcohol screening/testing.
* Reliable transportation to and from work.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
* Ability to communicate using two-way radio. (CB)
* Basic math.
* Basic computer/technology skills preferred.
* Knowledge/Understanding of DOT rules & regulations.
* MSHA rules & regulations.

* Understanding basic hand signals.
Our shop/yard is located in Logan Utah.
* Pay will be D.O.E. will discuss further during job interview process.
* Full time work is preferable. (Have limited part time positions available).
* We offer medical memberships and partial insurance reimbursement. As well as PTO.
* Quarterly bonuses
* Overtime pay (time and a half) after 40 hours
* Drivers are each assigned their own truck (majority of the time) with some exceptions.
* Driver is also responsible of and expected to keep up on the cleanliness, and overall appearance of your assigned truck. (Yes you will be paid to wash, detail and polish your truck)
* (Most) of all trucks are pre emission.
Drivers are paid from departure of yard to arrivial @ yard INCLUDING Pre/Post-Trip inspections.
