The Logansport HR Team spent the last few days in Indianapolis at the 2026 SHRM Indiana Conference!

It was a great opportunity to learn, share ideas and bring back some fresh perspectives. A lot of the conversations focused on leadership, workplace culture, employee engagement, developing our people and the changing role of HR.

We came home with some new ideas and a renewed focus on continuing to make Small Parts a great place to work.

A special shout-out to our friend Alysia James, HR Manager at WSP, for spending some time with us. And a big thank you to Corrina Downs for staying back and holding down the fort while we were away!

Ending a super busy week at Small Parts!

This week we completed our annual anti-harassment training and United Way Pacesetter meetings, with a little safety trivia mixed in for some fun!

And because it was way too hot for an actual parking lot party, we brought the party inside! 😂🍕 A little Bruno’s Pizza was a great way to wrap up a busy week.

🍦🎉 Our Parking Lot Party was a sweet success today!

A big thank you to our guest of honor, Beverly Ann’s Ice Cream & Cookies, for treating our employee-owners to some amazing ice cream and cookies! It was a great way to take a break, enjoy time together, and celebrate the people who make Small Parts such a great place to work.

In this role, you’ll install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and electrical systems that keep our manufacturing operation moving.

✅ High school diploma or equivalent
✅ 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred
✅ Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical circuits and sensors
✅ Experience with Ladder Logic, C, and/or CNC (Allen Bradley/Fanuc experience is a plus)
✅ Comfortable using Plex ERP and Microsoft Office
✅ Safety-first mindset with knowledge of LOTO, HAZMAT, forklifts, and lift safety

In this role, you’ll help keep production moving by transporting raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout our facility while working with forklifts and our Plex ERP system.

✔ Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to become certified within 30 days)
