ADU rules have relaxed in Long Beach! Our phone’s ringing off the hook with questions & we love to be a resource and share insight.

Answers to some FAQ’s ⤵️

ADUs require drafted plans and permits with the city.

When working with an existing structure it's not as simple as putting in a shower/toilet to your garage, throwing up some drywall and hanging a for rent sign.. though we wish it was that simple!

Original structures must be brought up to code and current energy requirements need to be implemented. It's important to evaluate the cost of bringing a structure up to code vs tearing it down and starting fresh.

Consider the life of the dwelling as well as maintenance and repairs.

In awe of nature’s beauty and this perfect pallet for fall 🧡

Having been out of town we haven’t put up our fall decorations yet and this is definitely a first. I know what’s on the agenda this weekend! Oh ya, plus installing new landscaping with the best .

Do you also decorate for the seasons or find it excessive? I love any excuse to change things up!

Virtual design has been a life saver of 2020 and is definitely here to stay!

We are wrapping up some final design packages for the holiday this week like this dreamy white bathroom ❄
