Rescheduled: Long Beach Historical Society Cemetery Tour, Tuesday, Oct. 30th, 5-6:30 at the Long Beach Cemetery on Girard Ave., no charge—ever!
5 local re-enactors will bring to life (no pun intended) the history of Long Beach,Ms. Enter on the City Cemetery at 1st street (railroad) entrance. Tours are Self-guided and will take approximately one hour. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

Jeepin the Coast Parade Route:
The Jeepin the Coast parade is today at 1:30 PM!
The first 250 registered Jeepers will line up at the south end of Jeff Davis Avenue in the empty parking lot on the west side of Jeff Davis (see map below ). Jeepers will parade north up Jeff Davis, turn right onto 1st Street, turn right on South Burke and end at the Town Green.

As we all Remember the moments from 12 years ago when Hurricane Katrina made land fall and changed our beloved Mississippi Gulf Coast and Long Beach. We are thanking the thousands who helped put us back together again. We are rallying the citizens and supplies and headed your way Texas. Please drop your supplies to the Long Beach Police Department - MS– 201 Alexander Road. The Long Beach Mississippi Fire Department ( all three locations ) – 645 Klondyke Road, 120 East Second Street and 21066 Johnson Road. PLEASE NO CLOTHES. We are collecting baby items, formula, gift cards, cleaning supplies, water, Gatorade, toilet paper, paper towel, mops, buckets, bleach, Clorox wipes, hand sanitizers, Aleve, Advil and toiletries.

PLEASE AGAIN AT THIS TIME WE ARE NOT COLLECTING CLOTHES.
