Rycon is pleased to be partnering once again with our friends at Reidy Contracting Group on the fit-out of a 20,000 SF medical facility.
Our mechanical scope includes new VRF heating and cooling systems, a whole-house ERV system designed to maximize energy efficiency, new zone-control duct distribution, and a new BACnet building management system.
We’re proud to continue working alongside the RCG team and look forward to bringing this project to life.

Major milestone at 181 Livingston! Rycon, alongside our partners at Wesbuilt, achieved TCO for the three-floor, 160,000 SF build-out of Brooklyn Charter School — keeping the project on track to open this fall.

Rycon’s scope included new distribution ductwork with variable zone control, perimeter radiant heating, a new BMS system, supplemental AC, a commercial kitchen, and three Data/IT rooms.

A big thank you to Wesbuilt’s on-site team and Rycon’s PMs and foremen for the long hours, coordination, and problem-solving that got us here.

We’re excited to partner with JT Magen on the 60,000+ SF, two-floor office build-out at 160 Varick Street for Hines.

Designed by Vocon Architects with engineering by RDA Engineers, the project transforms a classic Art Deco loft into a modern, high-performance workplace.

Rycon Mechanical’s scope includes new HVAC duct distribution, dedicated AC units, zoned heating and cooling controls, and a new Building Management System (BMS).
We’re looking forward to sharing progress as this project comes to life.

This week, Rycon successfully completed the rigging of rooftop units (RTUs), condensers, fans, and other rooftop equipment, marking a major milestone for our Sterling Bruckner project with Wesbuilt.

Through careful coordination between the Rycon team, the general contractor, L&M Crane Rigging, and city authorities along the busy Bruckner Expressway corridor, the operation was executed safely and seamlessly.

Rycon’s scope for this 100,000 SF project includes the installation of new RTUs, VRF air conditioning units, smoke purge fans, electric heat, a gas monitoring system, new duct risers, and a new Building Management System (BMS).
We’re proud of the team’s planning and ex*****on and look forward to maintaining our schedule as we move toward project completion.

Proud to have partnered with HITT Contracting on the successful completion of this office fit-out at 902 Broadway.
Rycon’s scope included new distribution ductwork, VAV zone controls, perimeter FTR enclosures, and a dedicated IT air conditioning unit. The exposed ductwork complements the clean architectural design while delivering a high-performance mechanical system tailored to the space.

Rycon is excited to be partnering with Wesbuilt again on another school project this summer.
This time, we’re heading to School on the Square at 4650 Broadway, where we’ll be completing a 2nd-floor fit-out that includes new floor-mounted water-cooled AC units, Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs), finned tube radiators, VAVs, distribution ductwork, and additions to the existing BMS system.
With a tight summer schedule, our team is working hard to get everything completed before students and staff return in the fall. Looking forward to bringing this project to life over the coming months.

Rycon Mechanical is proud to have provided the HVAC scope for this highly detailed workplace and operations hub in the heart of New York City. From early coordination through installation, our team worked closely with the project partners to help bring this space to life.

Rycon is in full swing at our 181 Livingston site, 160,000 SF across 3 floors for Brooklyn Charter School.

Partnering with Wesbuilt Construction, sheet metal is moving fast, with steamfitters and insulators right behind. BMS is already roughed in across all floors.

With key equipment deliveries coming up, the team is pushing hard to keep momentum going.
Huge shoutout to Wesbuilt’s on site crew and Rycon’s PMs and foremen for the long hours and coordination that is making this fast paced install possible, and keeping us on track for a Fall 2026 opening.
