Job Description – Accounting assistant

The Accounting Assistant will provide daily support, coordination, and communication with team members and customers.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Manage AP/ AR
• Subcontractor/ Vendor compliance
• Job closeouts
• Preform credit card reconciliations
• Verify all A/P amounts are correctly tracked in quickbooks and in job cost tracking sheets.
• Compile 1099 documentation annually
• Manage all external insurance audits
• Other misc office tasks

Key Competencies
• Superb communication skills
• Experience using Quickbooks online
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Good problem-solving skills
• Sound judgment and ability to make decisions
• Well organized and able to manage time effectively
• Extreme attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Experience working with insurance claims a plus
• Teamwork and collaboration

Hours: 75% to full-time, depending on candidate.
Pay: Salary -negotiable
Retirement: 401k benefits
Vacation: 3 weeks PTO accrued over the year
