Millions of meals. Countless moments of connection. Thank you

MacKenzie Scott has handed Meals on Wheels America $70 million, her biggest single gift so far this year, at a time when one in three local providers has a waitlist and seniors are waiting an average of four months for meals and the daily check-ins that come with them.

The donation came with no conditions attached and no requirement to report back on how it is spent, which is how Scott gives. In 2025 alone she donated $7.1 billion to charity, and her total giving now sits at more than $26 billion across over 2,700 nonprofits since 2020.
