East Texas Bridge is hiring a Mixer Truck Driver for Dekalb, TX. A person with this job must be able to safely operate the truck and its auxiliary equipment such as levers, chutes and mixing drums. When the driver picks up the materials to be loaded into the mixer, the driver must be able to manipulate the drum under the hoppers that dispense the cement, gravel, sand, and water into it. The driver must understand the mixing procedure and adjust the speeds on the mixer accordingly. The driver must know what materials should be in the blend and check the work order to ensure she/he is picking up the appropriate mixture. Must have at least one year of previous experience and a minimum of a Class B CDL.

We are currently seeking an experienced Vacuum Sweeper Driver for use in conjunction with our milling operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that each job site has been meticulously cleaned and that it meets or exceeds expectations. They will coordinate with the milling crew and other on-site personnel to ensure that sweeping is performed in the most efficient and effective manner. The operator should also expect to assist the rest of the crew with other general labor tasks and equipment operation. One year experience minimum.

Candidates must have a sense of safety and awareness when working in high traffic and potentially hazardous construction sites. Attention to detail is of the utmost importance. Drivers must possess at least Class B commercial driver’s license.

The above listed duties require periods of standing, walking, climbing, stooping and bending. It requires climbing equipment's steps or ladder to reach operators seat as well as periodic lifting of 10 to 40 pounds. Must have transportation.

On Friday May 15, 2026, 42 employees of East Texas Bridge were served lunch while concrete paving on Bowie County US 82 in Dekalb, TX. Our Human Resources Department and our Safety Manager prepared and served lunch to these hard working employees. These employees included truck drivers, concrete finishers, plant operators and equipment operators.
