I've been listening to the feedback.

One of the biggest things I've heard is that the Torch Burn website feels a little too busy. Some people have said it's hard to tell exactly what Torch Burn Supply Co. does at first glance.

They're right.

When I started building the website, I had a lot of ideas and wanted to include everything. But sometimes less is more.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be redesigning the website with one goal in mind: making it simple, clear, and easy to navigate.

I want visitors to immediately understand who we are, what we do, and how we can help.

Thank you to everyone who's taken the time to give honest feedback. It helps me build something better.

This is just another step in the journey.

Sometimes it's okay to feel like a failure.

Not because you are one...
But because you care.

When you pour your heart into something and come up short, it's going to hurt. It's going to make you question yourself. That's part of being human.

Today, I failed a welding test.

I'm not proud of it, and I'm not going to pretend it didn't get to me. Right now, it feels heavy.

But I'm learning there's a difference between feeling like a failure and being one.

So tonight, I'll sit with it.
Tomorrow, I'll get back under the hood.

That's what blue-collar people do.

We get knocked down.
We cuss.
We doubt ourselves.
Then we show up and try again.@

Torch Burn Supply Co. is looking for a motivated person to help build our staffing and recruiting division from the ground floor.

This is NOT an hourly position.
This is NOT a salary position.

This is a commission-based opportunity for someone who is hungry, self-motivated, and ready to help grow something from the beginning.

What we're looking for:

⚒️ Recruit skilled tradesmen
🏭 Build relationships with companies
📞 Follow up on leads
🤝 Help connect good hands with good opportunities

Commission Structure:

✅ If you find the company, build the relationship, recruit the workers, and help close the business yourself, you earn the full 10% commission.

✅ If a Torch Burn Referral Partner brings the lead and you work the lead into a paying client, the commission is split:

- Referral Partner: 3%
- Recruiter/Business Development: 7%

✅ Referral Partners can keep their current jobs. If you know companies looking for manpower or skilled tradesmen looking for work, you can earn commissions when your referrals turn into actual business for Torch Burn.

All commissions are paid after Torch Burn receives payment from the client.

Torch Burn Supply Co. was built by a tradesman for tradesmen. We're not looking for people who need to be micromanaged. We're looking for people who want to help build something and be rewarded for results.

Heavenly Father,
Today I come before You with a humble heart. Lord, You know the weight I carry, the dreams You've placed inside me, and the responsibilities You've entrusted to me. You know my desire to provide for my family, build something meaningful, and leave a legacy that honors You.
Father, when I feel overwhelmed, remind me that I don't have to carry it all alone. When doubt creeps in, replace it with faith. When fear whispers that I'm not enough, remind me that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness.
Lord, bless the work of my hands. Guide my steps as I build Torch Burn and pursue the opportunities You've placed before me. Open the right doors and close the wrong ones. Protect me from bad decisions, wrong partnerships, and distractions that pull me away from Your purpose.
Give me wisdom beyond my years, patience when things move slower than I want, and courage when it's time to step forward. Help me stay faithful in the small things while trusting You for the bigger things.
Bless my wife, my children, and my home. Let our family be covered by Your peace and protection. May my children see a father who trusts God, works hard, and never quits when things get difficult.
Lord, I pray that one day I will look back and see that every setback, every struggle, and every closed door was preparing me for something greater than I could imagine.
Until then, help me keep my eyes on You, my hands to the plow, and my heart full of gratitude.

Momentum and Stillness
Something I've been thinking about lately.
When you're a welder, mechanic, operator, or tradesman, momentum is easy to see. You strike an arc, turn a wrench, build something, and at the end of the day there's proof you moved forward.
Building a business is different.
Some days you're not welding. You're talking to insurance companies, lawyers, investors, clients, and potential employees. You're building systems, contracts, relationships, and a foundation.
At the end of those days, it can feel like nothing happened.
But I've started realizing that momentum isn't always movement.
Sometimes momentum looks like stillness.
Just because you don't see immediate results doesn't mean progress isn't being made. A lot of the most important work happens long before anyone else sees it. The contracts, the planning, the phone calls, the late nights, the failures, and the lessons learned along the way.
Most people only see the success when it arrives. They don't see the months or years spent laying the groundwork.
A dragline sitting still during maintenance isn't doing nothing. The welders, mechanics, and electricians are preparing it for the work ahead. The stillness is part of the momentum.
The same is true when building a business, a career, a family, or a dream.
I've learned that momentum isn't measured by how fast you're moving. It's measured by whether you're still taking the next necessary step, even when the reward isn't immediate.
The roots grow before the tree.
Keep building.
Keep learning.
Keep showing up.
Your season of stillness may actually be your season of preparation.
