In a world where engineers are needed more and more each day, it's important to supply our younger generation with the resources they need to develop engineering skills. Welcome to Titanuims Robotics, a division of Lorain City Schools (school district) that allows engineering to develop at a younger age in high school. Here at LHS (Lorain High School), we provide you with the equal opportunity to
participate in the design process, build process, programming process, one to one contact with real Nordson engineers, CAD (Computer Aided Design) / Inventor computer simulated drawings process, prototyping of designs process, pneumatics process, Fast paced building process, and more. The name of the "game" is building robots to compete in competitions upwards to 60 teams or more in length, design a robot from start to finish within the given time restraints of 6 weeks, work hands on with real Nordson engineers to solve the given task or (game) thats handed to you on kickoff day, send the robot to competition and compete for the championship in Atlanta, GA. The game changes every year, and no team knows what it is until it's unveiling in January (KICKOFF DAY). When that day arrives, a select few from the team (5) get the chance to personally go to the kickoff event and collect the game information, watch the game video, then bring it back for the team to see. Once the team brainstorms on ideas for the build and design of the robot, you've got 6 weeks to build, program, design, etc. until the regional event takes place and you have to compete.
