Practicing what we preach:
We recently renovated/re-modeled our office. It had not been updated since we moved here in 2008.
We installed new carpet, tile and paint. We remodeled one of the baths. The other bath will be done in a couple weeks.
The office was heated by a gas pack on the roof. This was replaced a couple of years ago but the duct system was marginal at best. We decided to upgrade to a hydronic heating system.
I had a Burnham Alta boiler left over from a video shoot a year ago, new and unused.
I had a half dozen cast iron radiators left over from a long completed job. I ordered three more to fill out the needed radiators.
I had the crew pipe in a split-loop Mono-Flo main in the warehouse below and insulated it with 1” wall fiberglass insulation.
We finished the installation just in time for the recent Arctic blast. The office has never been more comfortable.
