As the summer comes to a close, you may be dreaming of the tropical islands you visited. But as architects, we can’t stop thinking about our favorite islands — kitchen islands.

In addition to providing a place to prep meals, eat breakfast, and store accessories, kitchen islands often become the hub of the home. This kitchen remodel featured two islands for added storage and easier movement around the space.

We love relaxing by the pool in summer time.

This swimming pool serves as the centerpiece for a luxurious backyard oasis. Across the pool, we designed a cozy arbor with a fireplace for cooler evenings. Adjacent to the pool sits a spacious cabana for summer entertaining or family gatherings.
