"Hater" Comment: "Your homes are SO expensive! I could buy REAL house for that!"
Okay friends, we are bummed that we have to post this once in a while, but we have to hash this out.
Here are some photos of this available Bison, a fully custom 28 ft. tiny house. The Bison, brand new, is about $120,000, which is on the higher end of our homes.
Yes, there are houses you can buy in this country that cost $120,000 - or less. We understand that
But let's look at the facts:
1. You cannot buy a brand new house anywhere for $120,000. We are very confident in that.
2. You will have enormous difficulty buying a gorgeously renovated, old house for $120,000, but yes, it can be done. Where those homes are located though, is a different topic.
3. We are certain that the old, renovated house for $120,000 isn't on wheels, and cannot be safely towed around the country to beautiful locations on adventures.
Now, when you peek at the kitchen in The Bison, we sincerely hope everyone can agree that it's fairly difficult to duplicate this level of luxury in a super cheap traditional home.
But, most importantly, we aren't trying to build the cheapest possible homes. We have some homes that are much more affordable, but we aren't in the business of building cheap stuff. Heck, many of our homes are being used as AirBnbs and are being paid off within 12-24 months of ownership!
And we get that the tiny house movement started as a DIY trend to save cash, and if someone wants to try and repurpose an old horse trailer to make a tiny house, that's okay, but those configurations are not safe and we won't be doing that.
Value is in the eye of the beholder, folks. And if our stuff is too expensive in your opinion, we totally understand. But if you go and look at our peers, we think you'll find our pricing is the same or better, too❤️
