In October, our team in Toulouse, France conducted module ground handling and loading tests with an ATR72 test aircraft. By using existing cargo handling equipment at airports to load the fuel modules into the aircraft, we can deliver hydrogen using standard intermodal freight (think: shipping containers). This would mean that every airport is hydrogen-ready without expensive infrastructure upgrades. This approach also speeds up airplane turn-around times and eliminates hydrogen losses.

It seems a little counterintuitive to cut a door into an aircraft to make it fly—but demonstrating how planes can easily adopt our hydrogen capsules is essential to prove just how seamless it can be to support hydrogen-powered flight.
