Pacific Palisades Rebuild Progress 🏗️

Forming out the shotcrete basement walls on this custom fire rebuild project. Every detail matters at this stage — layout, elevations, waterproofing coordination, rebar clearances, and making sure the structure is built to perform for decades to come.

A lot goes on behind the scenes before concrete ever touches the wall. Proud of the crew for the precision and effort on this one. One step closer to bringing this home back better than before. 💪

Concrete day. Everyone’s favorite day 🏗️🔥

Proud of the crew on this one. This structural floating podium deck above an existing pool was no joke — tight access, heavy steel congestion, curves everywhere, and zero room for error. The boys absolutely delivered.

The Engineer requested a 4500 PSI pea gravel mix due to the massive amount of rebar packed throughout the deck. This allows the concrete to fully flow and encapsulate every bar properly for maximum structural integrity. Our crew worked the entire pour with high-horsepower vi*****rs to ensure even consolidation throughout the slab.

A broom finish was selected since the deck will receive waterproofing before the custom waterslide gets installed on top.

No matter the challenge. No matter the accessibility. No matter how creative the project gets — we’re here to execute. Proud of the team for bringing this one to life. 👷🏽‍♂️💪🏽

This rebar package was no joke. A floating structural podium deck built above an existing pool, packed with curves, tight access, and four total layers of steel throughout the deck system. Every bend, spacing, and elevation had to be dead-on.

Bottom mat: #5’s both ways @ 9” spacing
Top mat: #6’s both ways @ 9” spacing
Extras: #8 bars packed in for reinforcement
Column beam: 12 horizontal #7’s, all locked in with stirrups @ 4” spacing

All tied into a curved 12” thick podium deck designed to support a custom waterslide feature. Tight conditions, heavy steel, and no room for mistakes — but the crew handled it like machines. Precision matters, even in the rough stages.

This podium and custom slide had a lot of moving parts and client revisions, but the team stayed sharp through all of it. That’s why we’re the one to call, because it’s all about getting the job done!
