Some projects just click. This LA home blends modern updates with the character that was already there.

A few favorites: the deep navy kitchen cabinets with classic white subway tile and brass hardware, the panel-front fridge that disappears into the cabinetry, and that original tile fireplace anchoring the living room. Warm oak floors throughout tie it all together.

A kitchen this quiet hides a lot of careful planning.

No visible cabinet pulls. The washer and dryer tucked behind matching panels, so the laundry disappears into the rest of the run. A pot filler over the range. A stainless undermount sink set flush to the counter. Marble carried straight up the wall so the eye doesn’t catch anywhere it shouldn’t.

Minimalism like this only works when the work underneath isn’t. Every drawer break, every panel seam, every fixture had to be drawn long before a cabinet was hung.

If you stripped your kitchen down to the few things you actually use every day, what would stay on the counter?

A lot of time went into getting the details right — plaster, ironwork, tile, wood beams, all of it. Nothing flashy, just solid work that fits the home.

This one was a full rebuild, but we wanted it to feel like the house had always been there.

A lot of time went into getting the details right — plaster, ironwork, tile, wood beams, all of it. Nothing flashy, just solid work that fits the home.

Color set the direction on this one.

The original space felt flat. We leaned into contrast—warm wood tones, darker floors, and that hit of blue in the kitchen to carry the whole space.

Opened up the layout, brought in more light, then built the palette around it so everything reads connected without feeling busy.

Simple moves, but intentional. That’s what makes it work.

Full remodel focused on opening up the living spaces, bringing in natural light, and keeping the original character intact. The arches, proportions, and materials were already there—we just made them work together.

We just gave this one a second life.

Full remodel focused on keeping the original feel, but making the home work for how people live now. Opened up the layout, brought in more natural light, and kept the details tight—custom millwork, clean transitions, nothing forced.

Outdoor space flows right off the interior, same palette, same intention.
