🏡 More Homes. More Opportunities.
California’s Starter Home Revitalization Act (SHRA) is designed to make it easier to create smaller residential developments by streamlining the subdivision approval process.
Under SB 684 / SB 1123, eligible projects can create up to 10 new lots or dwelling units through a ministerial approval process, helping reduce some of the time and complexity traditionally associated with subdivision approvals.
The goal? Expand homeownership opportunities and support the creation of more housing.
Key points:
▪️ Up to 10 lots or dwelling units
▪️ Streamlined ministerial approval
▪️ No public hearings or appeals
▪️ No CEQA review
▪️ Applies only to eligible properties and projects
📍 For property owners, developers, and contractors, understanding these opportunities can be an important first step when evaluating a new housing project.
