Nathan Pilbrough, PhD student and researcher at LEMUR, investigates the use of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) for actuating robots generated by the lab's flagship project, the Robot Compiler. In this report, he explores a linkage system design acting as an interface between an actuator and a paper hinge: www.uclalemur.com/blog/mems-linkage-mechanism
