Our Electronics Design and Manufacturing company is looking for a fulltime test technician or test engineer at our Burbank, CA location.
Applicant should have the skill set and knowledge to properly test and troubleshoot complex RF assemblies, including electronic and mechanical switches, amplifiers and digital control circuitry.
Experience with RF components, impedance matched circuits, microprocessors, transformers, splitters, and amplifiers, as well as LabView programming skills, are desirable.
Capable of using RF test equipment, network analyzers, signal generators, digitizing oscilloscopes.
Experience in assembling electrical and mechanical parts; soldering, wiring and mechanical assembly also desired.
Training in IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification or equivalent very useful.
English fluency, reading, writing, and comprehend instructions, crucial.
Ability to read and understand schematics and assembly prints, parts lists, wiring diagrams and wiring lists, and follow detailed test instructions and plans.
Capable of lifting 35 pounds from floor to bench using a proper lifting technique.
Must be able to walk, sit and/or stand throughout an eight or ten-hour day.
Position requires some use of hand tools, power tools, and soldering irons.
Must be able to work on prototypes, engineering and production type hardware, rough sketches, and verbal instructions or notes to assemble, test and install a wide variety of complex assemblies.
Experience with Quality and Inspection processes, and very detail oriented.
