Navigating Title 24 paperwork can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. Here’s a quick breakdown of the three main forms used for energy compliance in California:

• CF1R – Your title 24 report based on your project plan set. Submitted before construction to show how the project will meet energy code.
• CF2R – The installation record. Completed by contractors to confirm what was installed.
• CF3R – The verification. Signed off by a certified HERS rater to confirm it meets Title 24 standards.

Each one plays a key role in getting your project to final inspection - on time and without surprises.
