📣PSA:
Extreme cold + snow = your HVAC working overtime. A little prevention now can save you from a no-heat emergency later.

❄️ Heat Pumps: Don’t switch to Emergency Heat unless your system fails — it’s expensive and not meant for normal cold weather.
❄️ Clear Snow & Ice: Keep outdoor units and furnace vent pipes free of snow and debris. Airflow is critical.
❄️ Change Air Filters: Dirty filters restrict airflow and can cause shutdowns.
❄️ Keep Doors Closed: Limit opening exterior and garage doors to hold heat in.
❄️ Unblock Vents: Make sure furniture and rugs aren’t covering supply or return vents.

⚡ If You Lose Power:
🔥 Never use ovens, grills, or generators indoors — carbon monoxide kills.
🚰 Let faucets drip and open sink cabinets on exterior walls to help prevent frozen pipes.
🧤Bundle up, and check in on neighbors/loved ones.
