Kentucky had a strong showing at the recently concluded Level 2 tournament in Greensboro!

Rehaan finished as the singles finalist, earning second place in the main draw after a tough three-set battle in the final: 6–3, 4–6, 9–11. Nikhita finished third place in 12U girls doubles! Plus, Rehaan and Aspen Thompson also teamed up to take third place in doubles.

Congratulations to Rehaan, Nikhita and Aspen on a great tournament!

We’re excited to highlight Bass Rudd Tennis in Louisville, KY, a recipient of USTA Tennis Venue Services Facility Grant. The facility received a combined $48,500 from National, Southern, and Kentucky to go towards the resurfacing of eight courts, helping improve the playing experience for the local tennis community.

We’re proud to see continued investment in tennis facilities throughout Kentucky and the lasting impact these projects can have.

Middle school tennis teams, get ready to compete! The 2026 Raise a Racquet Foundation Kentucky Middle School State Tournament is Oct. 24–25 at Freeman Lake Tennis Complex in Elizabethtown.

Enjoy level-based, gender-neutral team play and quality matches to wrap up your fall season. Register your teams by Oct. 16. The cost is $25 per player and includes a tournament T-shirt. See you in E-town!
