MISA Metal Fabricating, Inc. MISA Metal Fabricating, Inc. is a full-service steel fabricating operation. Formed in 1989 as Riverport Steel, Inc., MISA Metal Fabricating, Inc. (MISA).

(MMFI) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marubeni-Itochu Steel, Inc. MMFI produces component parts for OEM industrial equipment manufacturers for production of forklifts and other material handling equipment, agricultural equipment and construction machinery.

Work resumes Wednesday, January 28, 2026. MISA Metal Fabricating will resume production on the regular schedule tomorrow. Road crews have worked day and night to clear the roads so you can get back to work. It's still cold, so watch for ice on the roads!

Snow emergency day 2. Yes, that's right folks. MISA Metal Fabricating will be closed a second day, Tuesday Jan 27, 2026, as conditions remain treacherous in many neighborhoods, side roads and rural roads while extreme cold near 0 tonight will slow recovery. Hopefully, back in action Wednesday unless you hear otherwise here, on WHAS or WAVE. Stay safe!
