The nation's largest emitter of HFC-23 is located in Louisville's Rubbertown area. The proposed rule would require Chemours to eliminate 99.9% of its HFC-23 emissions by October 1, 2022. This would be a big steps towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions which creates the greenhouse effect- trapping heat and warming the earth's surface. Smell MyCity is an odor reporting app for Louisville we helped bring to Louisville. It is available for download from Google Play and Apple App Store and can be used to report outdoor odors. Data is shared back with Louisville residents through the Louisville Data Commons. Reports are also shared with city agencies like APCD and MSD so they can tackle problems when they occur!
