"No man, I lost you around the middle of April," keeps me up some nights. Pamala, I lost you too...and to quite honest, I have not contacted you out of shame. Last April, my daughter and I handed out 150 flyers on harvard and yale thinking I could make a little extra money to pay down some school loans but something else happened...I got so many jobs and started working so much, and got so overwhelmed (and still am to some degree) that I dropped the ball with a two potential clients. You and my old neighbor Judy on Jaeger Ave (who dated Steve Miller...yes that one), whom I adore, got lost. I have since mended my relationship with Judy and would like to start anew with you. I'm honest, and believe or not, reliable. I am now much more organized and much less overwhelmed. Pamala, neighbor, would you please give me another chance?...you did say you could keep me busy all summer. Also, I have gotten so much business that I; bought insurance, formed an LLC, got business cards, forced myself into Facebook, attended "network" group pitches, etc. Someday you'll see a 1962 VW panel bus with Highlandsjack Handyman Service painted on the side, with me inside, and you getting, of course, excellent service. Just remember though, I'm gonna be a chemistry teacher too for another 13 years.
