Something's not right here...Can you spot it?

This is the kind of thing homeowners walk past every day without realizing there's a problem.

The conduit has separated! This leaves wiring exposed to moisture, insects, and physical damage. Even if everything is still working today, situations like this can lead to bigger problems down the road.

Electrical systems spend years battling weather, landscaping, lawn equipment, and normal wear and tear. Every once in a while it's worth taking a walk around your home and checking your exterior electrical equipment.

If something looks damaged, loose, broken, or just plain suspicious... it's probably worth having it looked at. ⚡

The best crews are the ones constantly learning from each other. ⚡

One guy finds a better way to do something, everyone adapts, and suddenly the quality gets even better.

And honestly, the little details matter. Even something as simple as taking the time to protect a wire from sharp metal edges says a lot about the pride someone takes in their work.

A little demolition action happening now in Boulder!

Sometimes a project starts with building.....Sometimes it starts with tearing everything apart and creating something new!

We're in the middle of demo on this space and uncovering years of electrical, plumbing, and who-knows-what-else hidden behind the walls.

The fun part? You can finally start to see what's possible once all the old stuff is out of the way.

So let's hear it...

👇 What do YOU think is going into this space?

Wrong answers are welcome too!

It's finally starting to look like a real store now!!

We've been working on the Mattress Firm build-out in Brighton, and it's always fun when a project reaches the point where you can finally see it coming together.

The framing and drywall crews have the walls up, insulation is in, the HVAC crew has their ductwork looking clean, and we're busy pulling wire, setting lighting, and getting everything ready for the next phase. 💡

Commercial projects are all about coordination between trades, and it's great to see everyone moving in the same direction to bring this space back to life after sitting vacant for years.

Excited to see this one keep taking shape. 👏

A good contractor isn’t someone who never makes mistakes.

It’s someone who shows up, does the basics right, owns the mistakes when they happen, and works to make them right.

That’s really the difference. Integrity, honesty, communication, and actually caring about the quality of the work. ⚡

One of the coolest things about construction is the mix of people you meet. 😅

You’ve got people who could’ve gone into medicine, guys who grew up working with their hands their whole life, people from all over the world, and even someone who used to develop microchips.

Everybody ends up here for a different reason, and that’s what makes the industry so interesting.

Quick detail most people miss 👇

We cover these openings during construction for a reason.

It is not just about keeping things clean.

If you leave them open, dust, debris, and drywall particles fall right in. Then, the first time the system kicks on, it blows all of that straight into the house.

Worse than that, that buildup can sit, hold moisture, and turn into a real health issue over time.

So we cover it early.

No dust clouds. No surprises. No problems later.

It is a small step, but it makes a big difference. 🔧

Quick word on a solid crew.

Working with RCI has made this job easier, plain and simple.

They handle their side. They communicate. They show up ready.

That matters.

It frees me up to focus on the rest of the build instead of chasing problems.

When something unexpected comes up, they do not stall. They figure it out, bring solutions, and keep things moving.

And the crew?

Clean. Professional. Respectful. No nonsense on site.

That is hard to find.

Good subs make the job smoother. Great ones make it better.

RCI is one of the good ones. 🔧

Hey Guys! Have you heard about Colorado's H.E.A.R. program!?
A lot of people still don’t know Colorado has rebates out right now for electrical and energy upgrades

The H.E.A.R. program can help cover things like electrical upgrades, high-efficiency equipment, and other home energy improvements depending on income level.

Some homeowners may qualify for a pretty big portion of the project cost to be covered.

Right now, applications are open for areas outside the Front Range, including Logan County and Morgan County.

If you’ve been putting off upgrades because of cost, this is worth looking into.

Quick truth from the field.

The home inspector is your last line of defense.

If something gets missed by the crew or the city inspector, they are the ones who catch it. And they are not just looking at code. They are looking at real-world practices.

That is where you learn.

You see what gets flagged. You fix it. You raise your standard.

No ego. No excuses.

If they are calling something out, pay attention. It usually means you can do it better.

That is how you improve in this trade. 🔧
