Lowville Farmer’s Cooperative, Inc. is a farmer member owned cooperative serving the agricultural needs of farmers in Lewis County, NY and surrounding areas of Northern New York State. The focus of the business is the vibrant dairy industry in the area. Additionally, we have a Building Supplies Department, a Hardware and Clothing-Footwear Department.

This position will work with the Department Manager and with contractors, homeowners, hardware, lumber, windows, doors, and more needs. You will be responsible for Ordering Products, Inventory Control, Re-Stocking, Answering Phones, and Customer Service with scheduling deliveries. The Sales Clerk must be a team player and work closely with all our staff and salesman.

Position requirements
• Required, computer proficiency
• Required, valid driver’s license
• Required, demonstrated ability to work independently
• Must have good verbal & written communication.
• Must be able to keep accurate records.
• Will be required to work Saturdays as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have good attitude and open minded to handle stressful situations.
• Duties listed may change as situations arise.
