Literacy empowers learning, is vital to development, preserves history, and inspires a love of reading and sharing stories. Every space we design starts with that in mind from libraries, classrooms, community learning centers, and other places that open your mind.

This National Literacy Month, we're reminded that literacy isn't built in a single moment — it's built over years, in places designed to hold that possibility.

A crucial part of Building Community is showing up in the places where help is needed most.

On National Food Bank Day, we recognize the organizations, volunteers, and donors working every day to fight food insecurity. Across Parkhill’s service regions, food insecurity remains above the national average, with senior citizens and children among the most affected. Food banks provide essential resources and hope to families in need.

In addition to designing spaces that support the missions of food banks, Parkhill employees donate goods and volunteer their time to support local organizations and the people they serve.

As the Dallas-Fort Worth region continues to grow, so do the demands on the infrastructure that keeps communities moving.

Parkhill’s Chief Strategy Officer of Engineering and former Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams recently shared his perspective with "Engineering News-Record" for its City Scoop column, discussing how rapid growth is affecting water, power, and transportation systems across the region.

Parkhill has shaped Midland Airpark for many years, including the 2026 ACEC award-winning MDD Airfield Improvements project. We've been a part of building more than projects; we've built an enduring relationship.

Parkhill enjoyed spending time with friends and the Midland community at Midland Airpark for the fifth annual Fly into Fall. From aviation displays to educational activities, the Run the Runway 5k, and more family fun, it was a great day to connect, learn, and experience the excitement of aviation together! ✈️
