Dr. Fedler was recently featured in Texas Tech University's Department of Civil, Environmental & Construction Engineering magazine for organizing and leading a workshop with the Okavango Research Institute in Maun, Botswana. The program focused on youth empowerment, food security and sustainable development, equipping participants with practical skills in aquaculture and entrepreneurship.

With more than 40 years of experience in water and wastewater research and engineering, Dr. Fedler brings an extraordinary depth of knowledge to the OEI team. His career has been defined by innovative, sustainable solutions and a commitment to applying engineering expertise to real-world challenges facing communities.

Project Highlight: Cutbirth Subdivision | Robinson, Texas

OEI is proud to support the planning, engineering design, and infrastructure improvements for the Cutbirth Subdivision — a new residential development featuring eleven 5-acre lots and a single cul-de-sac roadway.

The project includes the extension and installation of public water infrastructure, fire hydrants, stormwater drainage, paving, grading, erosion control, and utility coordination. Drainage improvements are also being designed to manage onsite runoff and safely convey stormwater in accordance with local criteria and 100-year storm event requirements.

From water and roadway systems to drainage and utility coordination, this project reflects the comprehensive infrastructure planning required to support responsible residential growth in communities across Texas.
