I would like to give a shout out to all the customers I spoke with on the phone today, you are all wonderful and I very much appreciate everyones patience as we try to get everyones service requests scheduled and completed. I dont know how many of our customers follow our face book posts but its definetly been a day here of many calls. It is definetely hot out and really just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has called Hankwitz Heating for your service needs. Looking into tomorrow (Thursday 7/2/26) we are almost at capacity for service calls and we are closed on Friday to allow our crew to have some time with their families. We truly do understand your furstration if we cannot get you on the schedule right away, we are doing the best we can to get as many as we can. Thank You for your patience and understanding.
Please check the following:
check furnace filter if you are having problems with cooling, please make sure your outdoor condenser is clear of dirt & debris (you can use a garden hose on a light spray to clean the condenser fins if dirty). If your AC is not starting up, please check and make sure your breaker is truned on and check the outside disconnect to make sure that is in proper position and engauged. If you notice any frost on furnace near the linset area or out on the condenser and the system is not cooling, please turn the system off and let it thaw completely, check the filter and after it is thawed start it back up see if that helps buy you some time, if it freezes up again turn the system off until we can get there.
