Just because you love a piece of furniture doesn’t mean it’s right for your space!
Today, I got a call from a client shopping at Crate & Barrel for a dining room set to complement the kitchen I designed for her.
Her kitchen hasn’t been installed yet, so she can’t visualize how everything will look together.
She found a beautiful teak wood table she loved. But here’s the thing — not every wood tone or stain works with every design! Cabinetry, flooring, countertops, and undertones all matter.
So instead of just giving my opinion, I placed the table directly into her kitchen rendering.
And just like that, she knew it wasn’t the right choice!
That led to an afternoon of swapping tables, changing chairs, and exploring different finishes. The images I’m sharing are just a few of the combinations we tried!
This is what my design services are all about. Helping clients visualize their choices, explore options, and avoid costly mistakes before making a purchase.
And yes, it’s Sunday!
