Every piece of steel that leaves our shop was built by hand by someone who knows the trade.

38 years of experience behind every job. No shortcuts. No close enough.

Just built right.

Every piece of steel that leaves our shop was touched by someone who knows the trade.

Not a machine. Not a shortcut. Hands that have been doing this work long enough to know the difference between close enough and done right.

38 years of that experience is what stands behind every job we take on.

On time isn't a goal here. It's the expectation.

When we give you a delivery date, we mean it. And when something threatens the schedule, you hear from us first — not the day before it's due.

When you call Ratliff Industries, you're talking to someone who actually knows Southeast Texas.

We're not a large regional shop managing jobs from a distance. We're right here — same community, same industry, 38 years of relationships built on doing what we say we're going to do.

Local fabrication means faster response, better communication, and a team that has a real stake in getting your job right.

That's what you get when you keep it local.

We're hiring at Ratliff Industries — two positions open now.

If you take pride in your work and hold yourself to a high standard, we want to hear from you.

1st Class Structural Fitter — $20–$25/hr
Not entry level. We need someone with solid structural steel fitting experience who can read prints, run a torch, tack with stick rod, and fit steel accurately with minimal supervision. If you're the kind of person who takes ownership and isn't satisfied with good enough — apply.

Structural Welder — $20–$24/hr
Minimum 2 years FCAW experience required. Must be able to weld vertical, overhead, and horizontal and pass a structural welding certification test. Dependability and attention to detail are just as important as skill.

Both positions are full-time with health insurance and paid time off. Located in Lumberton, TX.

Send your resume to [email protected] or call 409-755-1830.

Most of our customers don't call us because they have a straightforward job.
They call us because they have a problem — a tight timeline, a field condition that doesn't match the drawing, a component that has to fit inside a space nobody measured quite right.
Our job isn't to build what's on the paper. It's to understand what the customer actually needs and figure out how to deliver it.
That takes experience. It takes people who ask questions before they start cutting. It takes a shop culture that treats problem-solving as part of the work — not an inconvenience to it.
We've been doing that kind of work in Southeast Texas for 38 years.

Loaded and ready.
This galvanized structural package — cage, ladder, and access platform — was fabricated right here in Southeast Texas and is headed to the job site. Clean work, tight tolerances, and built to hold up once it gets there.
This is what leaves our shop when we do our job right.

The best thing that can happen to a fabrication shop is keeping good people.
Not just because turnover is expensive — though it is — but because the institutional knowledge that lives in a long-tenured team is almost impossible to replace.
When a welder has been with you for 15 years, he doesn't just know how to weld. He knows how your shop thinks. He knows which customers are particular about their fit-up. He knows what "close enough" really means and when it doesn't.
That kind of knowledge is earned, not trained.
At Ratliff, we work hard to build a culture where people want to stay. It pays off every day, in every job that goes out the door.
