Home Builders Association of Central Virginia The Home Building Association of Central Virginia is a non-profit trade organization promoting the building/housing industry as essential throughout Virginia.

Hundreds of Building and Housing Industry professionals in Central Virginia are part of the Home Building Association of Central Virginia, a vibrant, growing association, now in its 61st year. The HBACV, is a non-profit 501 (C) trade association of builders, remodelers, trades, suppliers, distributors, lenders, Realtors and other associated companies involved with the building/housing industry. We

represent firms in Lynchburg and the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Campbell, Nelson, Pittsylvania and beyond. The association promotes the concept of doing business with a member and has a strong referral and marketing network which goes beyond our membership rolls. We are your advocate for the building and housing industry in the region and beyond. Our ongoing efforts kept more than $11,000 in additional housing regulations and fees from becoming Virginia state law and we convinced the Governor to have the industry deemed “essential” when the pandemic hit. We are dedicated to promoting a positive building-business climate and serving as a catalyst for continued residential and light commercial growth and success. We are partnering with local schools and businesses to help develop the industry’s future workforce. Our members include some of the most successful and influential business people in Central Virginia and we ask that you look to see how your company can leverage a membership to its advantage.
