JOB SUMMARY:
We are a 26+ year-old company that is a leader in our industry. Our continuing growth has provided us the opportunity to add another Emergency Services team member! We are willing to train hard-working men and women with construction or mechanical aptitude.
For almost 3 decades we have responded to residential and commercial property fire/smoke/water disasters. Our team members are dependable, trusted, and willing to treat our clients' homes and valued possessions like their own.
The individuals we are looking for will be capable of performing the tasks below to a high standard:
Duties:
• Test, inspect, evaluate, and document the damage (typically water) affecting the structure.
• Remove standing water from the affected areas using our extraction methods and state-of-the-art equipment.
• Set equipment to dry structure and contents.
• Remove affected building materials when deemed non-salvageable (carpet, etc.).
• Potentially perform board-ups services and special tasks
• Career growth opportunities.
Required:
• Technicians will respond to residential and commercial emergency service calls and will perform water extraction, remove damaged carpet and debris, set drying equipment in the building, and document the work performed, etc.
• Ability to work hard and maintain a positive attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Comfortable with working on roofs and confined areas on occasion.
• Comfortable with working with hazardous materials with proper PPE provided
• Ensures safe project sites and work areas.
• Able to complete work to a high standard with minimal supervision.
• Committed to achieving quality results.
• Can quickly and efficiently solve unexpected problems encountered.
• Supports and helps to ensure best practices on job sites as it relates to professional conduct and quality.
Desired experience, but not required.
• IICRC certified in Water Damage Restoration.
• Basic construction knowledge, or experience as a construction laborer.
Job Type: Full-time with a possibility of overtime 10+ hours weekly
Salary: $16-$18 Based on Experience + after-hours bonuses
Benefits: Full after 90 days (company vehicle, sick leave/vacation, health, retirement, life insurance, etc.)
