This week we’ve got another massive savings job going down in Minneapolis/St. Paul! The contractor saved their client over $1,100,000 by drying out less than 20% of the roof insulation!

Furthermore, by drying out the roof it saved a tear off. That means at least 1900 man hours AND 800,000lbs of roof kept out of a landfill.

Total roof SF = 93,600sf. Total wet SF = 13,700sf.

I get asked all the time “what do you do if it’s EPDM? I didn’t think you could use a moisture scanner on that.” This is a common misconception. Here’s proof that moisture detection equipment can read moisture through EPDM.We took saturated EPS Insulation (at various levels of moisture), sealed them and tested the Tramex Meters MEX5’s readings through various different membranes. We are taking the mystery out of moisture scanning one step at a time. It’s about time moisture scans made sense. Want us to teach your team?
